Here are some darling stills from London-born photographer Chris Craymer's look-book, Romance. He states in an interview, "Romance for me was the perfect vehicle to make pictures which are can covey a number of emotions...I wanted to try to make pictures which could be for example sexy, funny, joyful and also powerful and even soulful. I hope I have succeeded." I believe he has...

Good Crafternoon...
Thursday night I am planning an origami themed craft night with my girlfriends. I have been aching to learn how to make paper cranes for some time and now I am finally gearing myself up for the challenge. I found a few "how to" sites that are a wonderful help!

Trend setting: Bunting banners...
I am seeing bunting banners (some may know them as pennant flags) all over the place! I think they add such a nice splash of color to a room, wedding, garden or anything in need of a little decoration. The best part is you can create your own with a simple diy project. All you need is some vintage fabric, scissors and a needle and thread! Some other creative ideas I came acrss can be found here, here and here.

Birthday!
Today I am 25! I cannot believe I am a quarter of a century old...it feels quite strange. My boss gave me the day off so I had lunch with a few of my friends (here) and later I am having a bbq with friends and family. Right now I am having tea and being lazy at home. So far it's been a wonderful birthday...

Reminders...
This photographer puts daily reminders up in her house in order to refresh her mind and not procrastinate. Some are simple like "wake up" or "be on time". However the ones that I like the best are more about how to live a better life...
Old snapshots...
Don't you just love old snapshots?! I love to dig through the bins of them at antique stores and pick out my favorites! These are not my own, they are from this flickr photographer who shares the same adoration. I like to look at them and imagine what kind of life they lead. They almost always have a bit of an eerie element to them...

It's Friday!
What do you lovelies have planned for the weekend? Mine is filled with birthday celebrations! Tonight I am headed to Denver to celebrate a friend's birthday by doing a bit of bar hopping (here and here) and pizza eating. Then tomorrow I am celebrating my own birthday (which really isn't until Tuesday) with all my closest friends! It is also my friend Marisa's birthday celebration along with a goodbye party for a friend of mine who is leaving for Thailand for a long, long time- all wrapped into one. So a few birthdays and a goodbye, that should be enough to wear me out for sure! I kinda wish I could be doing a little bit more relaxing! Oh well, it will be worth it.

Whenever I am feeling down...
I go to this twitter site to cheer myself up. I don't actually have twitter but lucky enough for me you can look at his site without having to join. This guy Justin is 29 and still lives with his parents. His dad, who is in his 70's, is quite the character. Just read it...it's hilarious.

One of my favorite things...
I recently received this coat in the mail as an early birthday present from my mother and I am smitten! It is just the perfect fall coat from Anthropologie. It is surprisingly light, as the fabric is a kind of cotton blend rather than wool. I love the hardware on the top...it adds a look of French elegance. I tried it on at the store couple of weeks ago, and although reasonable compared to a lot of their coats, I was unable to fit it into my budget. My sister was with me at the time and let's just say she worked her magic. Gotta love it when that happens!

Fun etsy find!
How amazing are these ceramics! I am so in love. This Dutch artist uses old vintage designs and then adds her own little twist. I think they are so fun...although the plates may be a little too cute to actually use! You can buy her work on her etsy site. Also, to learn more about her upcoming projects visit her blog.
