Last night I went to see Whip It with one of my girlfriends and I loved it! Ellen Page and Alia Shawkat are on and offscreen best friends and they are just too frikin' cute. On top of that all the female leads are fantastic in the film -- a few of them include Drew Berrymore (who also directed the film--her debut I believe), Juliette Lewis (remember her in this!) and Kristen Wigg (loved her in this). ALSO, my favorite Swedish artist Jens Lekman has songs scattered throughout the entire film. This song, especially, has a very notable scene. Have I done enough convincing yet?! Go!
