Have a tasty weekend!

Hello! What is your weekend looking like my dears? Tonight I am going to Boulder to spend some time with my old pal Whitney who is visiting from San Francisco-- catching up over cocktails I imagine. On Saturday I'd like to do some relaxing by the creek and then I'm gonna make a quick stop at my favorite thrift store on my way out of town (50% off day!). Sunday is the Lucky Pearl Bazaar which is basically a farmers market/flea market all rolled into one, count me in! Happy Weekend!

Bits of my weekend...

Since it was in the 90's all weekend, I spent most of my days trying to stay cool. We played in the Platte River (feet only, this is not the cleanest of rivers), made popsicles (fudge, mixed berry and mango lemonade with fresh strawberries!) and went to the Congress Park pool. The remaining hours were spent with friends, playing games, making food, and enjoying the sunshine. Yes, it is official-- summer is here and I am one happy lady.

This was a weird week. I am finally winding down from my vacation high. I was actually surprisingly loving the humidity in TN (not to mention the lush green trees) and have been a little sad this whole week to be back to reality. I did do something awesome last night- made popsicles! My brother gave me the Zoku maker last year for my birthday and I finally broke it out last night. I made a mixed berry yogurt flavor (using greek yogurt), and it turned out really tasty. I'm gonna make some more this weekend, it's addicting! Well, have a lovely weekend....x.

Tuesday Tunes + Gregory Euclid.

Well I'm home and in the process of getting all my photos developed (I took 5 rolls). In the meantime I thought I'd share Bon Iver's new single Calgary because it sends wonderful chills down my spine. The full album comes out June 21st and I do believe they are off to a good start with this one. Also, isn't the cover art for the album fantastic? It was created by Gregory Euclid and his whole process is documented online here (details of the painting are shown below).
