Take a look: Noble Town Vintage

When it comes to jewelry, I am all about keeping it simple. I like pieces that are versatile and easy to mix and match with just about anything. Noble Town Vintage is filled with bohemian chic necklaces and earrings for the everyday. And the bast part? It's affordable. All the jewelry has this lovely rustic, Southwestern feel to it. The necklaces can stand alone but are also wonderful layering pieces. The designer, Sarah Pace, lives in Salt Lake City and has an incredible talent for reconstructing vintage finds. In an interview about her work she says:

"So far my inspiration has been of strong geometric shapes mixed with raw, earthy elements. I'm drawn to simple silhouettes, repeating themes and pieces that stand on their own or layer for more interest. Making jewelry that can look just as great with cut offs as they do with a cocktail dress is my aim."

Hello folks! This weekend has been so beautiful here in Denver. I spent the day at the park riding my bike and throwing the frisbee around. It was pretty wonderful. I like that feeling you get when you've been active all day...it's so invigorating. Tonight I am just going to make dinner and watch movies. I've been a bit of a homebody lately. Partly because I'm broke but also cause I kinda like it. I've been busy at work for the past couple of weeks so it's really so nice to come home and just lay around the house. Bike accessories.

I love my little silver bullet. It is just the perfect size for me and it rides really nicely (despite a bit of break squeaking). I have to say that when it comes to riding my bike I am a bit girly (who knew?). I am definitely that girl riding around town in a skirt or dress. I already bought a helmut but that doesn't stop me from researching all the pretty little accessories available online. A while ago, I found The Bicycle Muse, an adorable little shop in San Francisco that has everything from helmets that look like fashionable hats, to purses and baskets. It does make me laugh a little to see how much these companies have really started to cater to the trendy bike rider. Here are some examples...

Rings.

I used to wear rings--three on one hand, two on the other. For some reason I stopped though. They seemed to get in the way too much and I was afraid that I would loose them if I ever took them off. Also they felt a little bulky on my hands; I felt so much freer without them. Recently though, I have become drawn to them again. I like how simple some of these are. It's like you might just forget you're wearing a ring at all. I also really love the creature rings; they're just so fun and quirky. So perhaps I will have a change of heart.

Take a look: Liebling

I wouldn't really call myself a shoe girl. I know...gasp. I usually have only about two or three pairs of shoes that I actually wear on constant rotation. However, after stumbling upon shoe designer Liebling, I finally started to understand the shoe fetish thing. These hand-made, high quality shoes are designed and manufactured in Israel in limited edition batches and are just stunning. The creators of this label are two women with very unique backgrounds--one is a specializes in postproduction and animation and the other in art and building preservation. Quite an unlikely pair to fall into the design world I must say. When speaking of the philosophy behind their shoes they say,"We believe that when a woman feels comfortable and peaceful she is projecting beauty and confidence also to the outside.” Well, they are definitely doing something right if they've got me interested. I am really loving the Sasha and Uma design. Which ones are your favorite?
