If you are in any way the crafty type, Fancy Tiger is a dream come true. Bolts of the most wonderful textiles and rare fabrics line the walls of this one-of-a kind store. The adjacent wall houses yarn galore in every color imaginable. Not a sewer or a knitter? No problem. They offer classes for beginning through advanced students on everything from the basics to the much more complex. Their store recently moved locations, so a couple weeks ago I wandered down to South Broadway to check out the new space. Only one block from their former location, the new store is a lot larger and more organized. I have to admit, the former location had cozier, more inviting feel to it, but it is obvious that they out grew the space. Now there is more room for the good stuff! So if you're thinking of taking up a new hobby this year, this is the place to start. It really is a Denver must. * Don't forget to visit their clothing store right next door! Probably a future 'wandering'...
